Paintings From Photo

I like to ground all of my students in drawing and composition basics from the beginning. We do a lot of drawing from life, still life pieces and animals. I teach my students of all ages to learn to break images down into basic shapes. We study perspective and distance and basic design concepts.

People are always surprised and pleased with the results! I also like to work with color and color blending to add life to work. My students learn basic color theory and techniques with colored pencils and, if they want to take it a step farther, with paint.

At the end of each semester (or at the end of the summer) I like to have a small gallery showing in which my students can display their favorite pieces and see what other students are doing as well!

General Public: Private Lessons

1 person, 1 hour lessons = $40 per hour per month = $160
1 person, 2 hour lessons = $37.50 per hour per month = $300

Home School Deal: Private Lessons

1 person, 1 hour lessons = $30 per hour per month = $120
1 person, 2 hour lessons = $27.50 per hour per month = $220

Families or Group Lessons

1 hour = $20 per person
2 hours = $30 per person
3 day seminar, 2 hours a day = $50 per person
